Banjara Man — India

This man is part of CBF’s ministry among the Banjara peo- ple of India, where CBF field personnel Eddie and Macarena Aldape serve. After serving 13 years in India among the Banjara, the Aldapes arrived in Spain in December 2015 where they are launching Centro de Esperanza (The Hope Center) to assist immigrants through the registration processes, language acquisition, culture simulation and directing them to local organizations that can meet their immediate needs.

 

Medical Clinic — Near Pune, India

This medical clinic in a remote Banjara village serves peo- ple who never have visited a doctor or hospital. The Banjara people, who fall low on the caste system in Indian society, number between 20 to 23 million in India but are often forgotten.
