Bible Institute — China
A Bible Institute teacher instructs students in the mountains near Chengdu, China, where CBF field personnel Bill and Mi- chelle Cayard serve through the registered church. With the Chinese church growing at a rapid pace, leadership training is one of the biggest needs. “The church is growing faster than leadership can keep up with,” Bill said. “The Bible college in Sichuan province is graduating about 30 pastors each year to serve a regional population of over 200 million. The majority of registered congregations are led by bi-vocational lay lead- ers in desperate need of increased opportunities for Bible and theological training.”
